2023 Will Be…

Wow, 2022 has been one of the most exciting years ever for Liquid Kosher. Now 2023 is here and we have a whole year’s worth of exciting releases from around the world, that will have something for everyone. Look out for a nice mix of wine that will be ready to enjoy upon release, and some special selections that will do best with aging, (along with some releases we have been cellaring for you). And, we still have a fantastic assortment of Bordeaux from nearly every year 2011-2020!

Together with our partner winemaker Jean-Philippe Marchand, we produced a new series of elegant Burgundy wines from up and down the region, from the 2021 harvest. We’ll be introducing some new vineyards and regions that we have not yet offered from this producer, and will be bringing back some of our most favorite vineyard sites as well (keep your verticals going from 2017!). Tasting notes and presale invitations to follow later this month.

Good news from California. Just as we quickly sold out of the 2019 releases, I am very much looking forward to the 2021 series that will be out this Spring. Featuring another excellent single vineyard Pinot Noir from the Central Coast, and a more Cabernet Sauvignon driven Red Blend, these perennial favorites are sure to please. Also look out for our single vineyard reserve series later this year as well, produced in very small quantities.

On the Israeli front, Lahat Wines will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their extremely popular “Lavan” White Blend, an hommage to the Rhone varietals that thrive so well in the upper western Galilee region. In fact, these wines are so well balanced and well made that they can even age for a decade, as evidenced in a recent anniversary vertical held in Tel Aviv. We are excited to bring in the anniversary release, along with the fresh batch of red wines as well. Grab the limited inventory that is still in stock soon!

Of course, we have not forgotten about Bordeaux. There is so much happening this year that it probably deserves its own post. But in short, look out for new vintages of classic Liquid Kosher names such as Domaine Roses Camille and Marquisat de Binet, and “new classics” like Castelbruck Margaux. It’s going to be a great year!
