First in our distinguished lineup is the 2021 Timbre Pinot Noir, a wine that offers a captivating glimpse into the beauty of the Central Coast wine appellation. This region, known for its picturesque landscapes and diverse microclimates, provides the ideal canvas for crafting wines of distinction. The 2021 Timbre Pinot Noir is sourced from a vineyard that we have not featured since 2018, a Santa Maria site which truly reveals the essence of Central Coast Pinot Noir. As you savor the trademark callsigns of this vineyard—ripe red berries, subtle spices, and a precise, velvety texture—you’ll feel connected to the essence of this renowned appellation. As one of our top selling wines ever, we are excited to share this latest edition with you. Each vintage and vineyard is a completely unique experience, with the unique attributes of vineyard of vintage creating a combination that can never be replicated. How much more so with Pinot Noir, a grape that is among the most sensitive to its environment and winemaking practices. This wine beckons you to appreciate the unique characteristics of the Central Coast: world class Pinot Noir, California style.
Next, we proudly present the 2020 Haut Breton Larigaudiere Margaux, a wine that transcends Bordeaux’s storied heritage of craftsmanship and quality. The northern Bordeaux appellation of Margaux is one of our favorite regions to feature. Famed for its unique soils, characterized by gravels and marl, which contribute to the elegance and structure of these wines. The 2020 Haut Breton Larigaudiere Margaux perfectly encapsulates the essence of Margaux. With each sip, you’ll embark on a sensory journey through this celebrated terroir—ripe dark fruits, delicate florals, and a subtle hint of spice. The 2020 vintage is certainly among the more punchy, powerful editions we have seen in recent years. Pour a glass of this exceptional Margaux, and let it become the gateway to your own exploration of Bordeaux’s captivating wines from Margaux and beyond. Completing our trio is the 2019 Clos Lavaud, a wine that brings to life the excellence of Lalande de Pomerol, a remarkable appellation neighboring the renowned Pomerol in Bordeaux. Hard to believe, but this is now the fifth vintage of one of our most popular Bordeaux wines, and is the first wine to be released from the 2019 vintage, from the winemaker Christophe Bardeau. The 2019 Clos Lavaud, with its rich red fruit notes and refined structure, embodies the very essence of Lalande de Pomerol: fruit forward and balanced wines, with a tannic structure and texture that is consistently above its price point. Over time, you’ll discover the subtleties that define this remarkable terroir, and why Clos Lavaud is one of our favorite micro-terroirs in all of Bordeaux.
