First among our delightful lineup is the 2021 Timbre Red Blend, a wine that beckons you to discover the profound significance of Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon. While the 2021 vintage was even and balanced, “up north” in Napa it was considered to be a lighter styled year. Not so on the Central Coast, as evidenced by this burly yet balanced Cabernet dominated blend. The notes of ripe dark fruits and harmonious spices are reminiscent of the season’s bounty, while the smooth texture and lingering finish provide a harmonious backdrop to the rich cuisine of the Fall festivals. My personal memory of this wine was an eye opening blending session of our various lots from the 2021 harvest, and creating this luscious cuvee while simultaneously tasting through previous vintages of the same. As you uncork a bottle of this exceptional blend, come along to a sensory journey of past and future, that captures the essence of both the wine and the thoughtful efforts of many winemakers and winegrowers behind it. Next, we proudly present the 2021 Lahat Wines Single Vineyard Syrah from the captivating landscapes of Israel. This exquisite offering is a testament to the unwavering dedication of expert winemaker Itay Lahat, who has harnessed the essence of a single vineyard to craft a Syrah of unparalleled elegance and complexity. Itay is one of the only winemakers who manages all the farming himself, in this case the extremely well regarded “Elkosh” Vineyard, ensuring the highest level of quality from grape to glass. As you savor this wine, you’ll be transported to the sun-drenched hills of the Upper Galilee, where the vines bask in the Mediterranean breeze. Each sip peels back layers of flavors—rich dark berries, subtle spices, and a delicate whisper of floral notes—that unfold in perfect harmony. The velvety smoothness and tingly, lingering finish are a tribute to the artistry that defines this remarkable creation, in a style that is a very clear nod to the noble syrahs of Hermitage and Cote Rotie.
